AI Legal Readiness Review for Startups

A founder-friendly legal scan that turns product, data and market questions into a clear list of what matters now and what can wait.

The business problem

What does this service help you address?

An early product decision can affect several legal questions at once. A new dataset may change your privacy analysis; a model integration may affect customer promises; an enterprise pilot may require contracts and evidence your team has not yet prepared. This review brings those questions together before you commit to the next milestone.

When it may be the right fit

  • You are preparing a first enterprise pilot or customer demonstration.
  • You need to understand the main legal gaps before fundraising or launch.
  • Your product uses third-party models, external datasets or automated decisions.

Included in the package

What the engagement includes

How we work together

From scoping to useful next steps

Product walkthrough

We use the 60-minute session to understand the product, its users, data flows and immediate commercial priorities.

Issue mapping

The review identifies the initial regulatory perimeter and issues across privacy, intellectual property, contracts and AI governance.

Priorities and debrief

You receive a prioritised 90-day action list, followed by a 45-minute discussion of the findings and possible next steps.

Published delivery times are targets and are confirmed after reviewing the scope and required information.

An illustrative situation

How it can fit a business decision

A startup is about to share a working AI assistant with a business customer. The review can identify which data flows, vendor terms, customer promises and oversight arrangements should be addressed before the pilot begins.

What to prepare

  • A short product demonstration or description of the use case.
  • An outline of your data sources, model providers, customers and intended markets.
  • Any existing customer terms, vendor contracts or privacy documents relevant to the review.

A short description of the product and issue is enough for a first enquiry. We agree the documents needed once the review scope is clear.

Questions before you start

Is this a compliance certificate?

No. It is an initial legal review based on the agreed scope and information provided. It identifies priorities; it does not certify the product or replace specialist assessments, document drafting or implementation work that may be needed.

Can I ask for advice on a narrower issue?

Yes. Explain the issue so we can assess whether a focused consultation or document review is appropriate. The scope and fee for a separate instruction are agreed before work starts.

Which languages can we work in?

Consultations and explanations can be in English, Persian or Azerbaijani. The language of written documents is agreed at the outset, taking account of your counterparties, market and business needs.
